  • Account data: login credentials (stored as secure password hashes), subscription and payment references
  • QR content: product, crop, batch, and recommendation data you enter
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, access logs, cookies
  • Communications: contact form messages, support correspondence
  • OTP verification: mobile numbers and verification timestamps for registration security

2. How we use information

  • Provide and manage your account and subscriptions
  • Generate and host public QR scan pages
  • Send OTP, approval notifications (email/SMS), and service messages
  • Process payments and maintain billing records
  • Improve security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations
  • Respond to support requests

3. Legal basis

We process data based on contract performance, legitimate business interests, legal compliance, and consent where required.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with payment processors (e.g., Razorpay), SMS/email service providers, hosting providers, and law enforcement when legally required.

5. Public QR scan pages

Information you publish in QR records may be publicly accessible to anyone who scans the code. Do not include confidential personal data unless you have a lawful basis to publish it.

6. Data retention

We retain account and subscription records as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal, tax, and dispute resolution purposes.

7. Security

We implement HTTPS, access controls, CSRF protection, rate limiting, and secure password hashing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your rights (India — DPDP Act)

Data principals may request access, correction, or erasure of personal data, subject to legal retention requirements. Email support@agrobooks.in with identity verification. Grievances: use subject "Data Protection Grievance" — we aim to respond within 30 days.

9. Data breach notification

In the event of a personal data breach affecting your information, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by applicable law.

10. Children

Our Platform is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 18.
